All Natural Tea Compress

It is always a beautiful thing witnessing inspirational and creative people "in the zone". My mother has been in the living room for the past few areas assembling and creating beautiful pieces for the jewelry line she will be releasing this year.  I am so excited to witness my mom reclaim her relationship to a craft that she has been doing for over 20+ years now.

I thought it would be neat to share a quick and easy recipe for herbal compresses. All it involves is making tea (as you normally would), allowing for it to cool off, and then steep a clean towel into the tea.

Herbal compresses are wonderfully soothing after a long days! The mixture is pretty aromatic and is a nice alternative to facial steam baths.

Try this recipe out.

2 tbsp chamomile
2 tbsp calendula
2 tbsp rosebuds (of course)
2 cups water
