"Pre-Hangover" Tonic: Ginger Carrot Juice




So it's New Years Eve!!!! 

New Years has always been my favorite holiday due to its association with renewal and growth. My family and I will be doing some home cleansing and reiki to welcome in new and vibrant energy. 

I also took the time to create a yummy tonic to keep folks stay hydrated throughout the day since we all know folks are gonna be getting shitfaced tonight. I usually get nauseous when I am hungover and I have found ginger tea to work quite well for me..

So..try out this ginger-based recipe to help ward off a hangover tomorrow & be safe!

Serves 2

Recipe: 
2 carrots
1 cup of ginger infused tea (cold)
thumb size piece of ginger 
1/2 cup of frozen pineapples 
3 tbsp of lime juice

Put pineapples, carrots and ginger root and tea in a juicer. (If you don't have a juicer then blend the pineapples, carrots, and thumb-size piece of ginger. Afterwards, place contents in a strainer to remove the pulp.)

Add lime juice
