Raw Vegan Breakfast: Overnight Oats




Yes! This is a raw vegan meal that is quite a feast to the eyes. It is a sweet, decadent treat for those of us with a morning-time sweet tooth and EXTREMELY filling. It takes a bit of overnight preparation but it is completely worth it.

The top layer is a raw almond butter cup that I had made a couple nights before. (Find the full recipe here: Oh She Glows )

The raw oats were extremely simple and only required soaking overnight in "milk".

Overnight Oats: 
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 cup of non-dairy milk
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg

Feel free to throw in a few nuts or craisins.

If you want a more liquid texture, like a smoothie, add the oats into a blender.
